Where Do You Find Your Miele Model # and Serial #?
Here we will show you how to find your model #, serial number, and the name of your Miele.
On canister models: look for the silver sticker on the wheel side (bottom) of your canister.
On upright models: look for the silver sticker on the wheel side (bottom) of your upright. This will be next to your spinning brush roll.
1. Finding the Name of your Miele.
Miele likes to name their machines. Knowing the name of your Miele will help a dealer figure out your model # if you no longer have the silver sticker showing your model or serial #'s.
Canisters: On the top portion of your vacuum (the part that faces the ceiling while you are cleaning), There is a Miele logo. Below the Miele logo, will be the name of your machine.
Uprights: On the front part of your vacuum, below the lever to open your upright to change your bag, and below your Miele logo, will be the name of your machine.
2. Finding Your Model Number.
The model # of your Miele is located on the silver on your machine. Please see above to locate this sticker on your unit.
Your model # will start with an "S" and be followed by either letters or numbers. Your model # is used to locate replacement parts for your model, or to figure out what bags / filters your model takes.
3. Finding Your Serial Number.
The serial number of your Miele is located on the silver sticker on your machine. Please see above to locate this sticker on your unit.
Your serial number is the 9 digit # that follows "00/". The "00/" are preceeding, and not part of your serial number. For warranty replacements or to register your Miele with Miele USA, you will need your 9 digit serial number.
The Miele silver stickers the contain your serial and model #'s tend to rub off over time with use. As Miele's have such a long lifetime, we recommend moving this silver sticker to the inside bag compartment of your machine, or taking a picture of this sticker and keeping it in your records with the rest of your Miele purchase information. Your silver sticker should remain with your model at all times.
