How Do I Change my Miele HEPA Filter?

Whether you have a canister or an upright Miele, changing the HEPA or charcoal filter is pretty similar.

1. Take out your old Miele HEPA Filter

2. Dispose of old HEPA filter in the trash

3. Slide the lower back edge of the filter in first (writing on the filter should face you)

4. Press down on the back part of the filter

5. Then press down on the front part of the filter. You might hear a “click” and this is normal. If you don't hear a click, just make sure the filter is firmly in place.

6. Mark your filter, calendar, or make a reminder in your phone to change your filter in 1 year.
