Miele just released their 2 NEW vacuum series: C1 Compact and C2 Compact. We will be reviewing the features, similarities & differences of each of these vacuum series. These new models are replacing the C1 Classic and the older C2 Compact series. Read on below to find out which model best suits your needs…..
C1 Compact series overview
There are 2 models in this series: Pure Suction and Turbo Team. These models are designed for customers with hard surface flooring and area rugs. Neither of the units in this series comes with an electric powerhead, which means they are not suitable for customers with carpeting.
C2 Compact series overview
There is only 1 model in this series, the Electro +. This model is ideal for customers with hard flooring and carpeting since it comes with both a hard floor tool and an electric power head.

Summary of C1 vs C2 comparison
Both of these vacuums series share a lot of the same qualities. The main differences are in the filtration and floor attachments. The C2 Compact series is far superior in its ability to clean carpeting and also comes with a HEPA filter. So if you are a customer that has mixed flooring with carpeting in your home, make sure and get the C2 Electro + vacuum.
If you have mostly hard flooring in your home with the occasional area rug sprinkled in...save some money and go with the C1 Compact series.
