FAQ:
Does the unit stop pulling water from the air once the “bucket full” indicator light turns on? What does it do?
- After the light turns on, the fan operates for an additional three minutes to remove remaining condensed water and then the product shuts off.
It says, "no drain hose connection" and also says, "drainage adapter with screw.” Does it actually have a way to drain with a hose?
- This model can be setup for continuous drainage with a 3/4" (outer diameter) threaded garden hose. You can turn the hose cover at the back of the product counterclockwise to open it, remove the bucket, insert the garden hose in the drain hole at the rear of the case, then turn the end of the garden hose clockwise to attach it to the male connection behind the water bucket. The garden hose needs to be attached firmly to avoid leaks. It should be hand tightened and then you can make an additional 1/8 turn with pliers.
